Happy Friday! This week I’ve been reading Endgame: The Calling – James Frey. It is so good, but I have no idea how to do the puzzles online. I love the idea, but they are way to difficult. I don’t even know where to start with them, and I get why they would be so hard, but I have no idea how anyone could find them out. The book is very, very good, though. I am also currently reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, but haven’t picked it up in over a week. Will Herondale, let me tell ya. He’s just like Jace…. but better. Yes, I said it. *faints* Update: I GOT MY FIRST CAR! It is a beautiful Jeep Liberty. She’s silver and her name is Luna. As in Lovegood. As in Harry Potter. As in letting my nerdiness show… again. Other than that, nothing really amazing has happened to me. If you like video games, my brother just started a YouTube channel about gaming. Subscribe to him: DannyusaGaming. He just started it today, but he’s super pumped about it :) Oh, and if any publishers would like to send me any ARCs I’d be cool with that. PO Box in the Contact Me tab.

Happy Friday, everyone! Today was the last day of school before Christmas Break! Last semester test is finally done. I feel like I did really well on all of my tests, and it’s a relief to have them done. Today is the first Nutcracker performance! We have been practicing all this week and it’s very exciting because we get to finally perform for people! My giveaway was extended, and there are only 12 entries so far. It is open for another 15 hours, I believe. Enter Enter Enter! Today marks the first day of the Christmas BookTubeAThon and of course I didn’t bring my book into any of my classes to read after tests. Oops. I am going to be starting with Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. I am almost done with Zombies vs. Unicorns and am about 75 pages into Clockwork Angel. I plan on reading a lot of books over Christmas break even though it’s only two weeks. I am going to allow myself to only watch half an hour of YouTube each day of break so then I can catch up on my reading. Merry (early) Christmas!

200 followers! Thank you to everyone who has followed me on my reading journey :) I will have a giveaway up soon! This weekend I will be reading Take Me Tomorrow by Shannon A. Thompson. I am currently loving this book and I love Thompson’s writing style. I will probably finish that soon and I’m going to Mockingjay Part 1 tonight! I am so freaking excited about this movie. I loved The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, and of course loved all the books, but I am so pumped to see the movie tonight! I love the broken world of The Hunger Games. I’m going to the movie with my boyfriend who also read the books and has seen the previous movies. He’s not nearly as excited as I am, but that’s probably because I’m overly excited about it. Oh well, it is what it is. Short post today, but if you want to see some specific books in the giveaway, comment below!

Happy Friday! Today I didn’t have school so I got to stay home. I got to start Zombies vs. Unicorns, which is my book club read, and started to crochet a hat. For the books of the week, I’m currently reading Zombies vs. Unicorns and The Book of Charlie. I’ve only read one of the short stories in Zombies vs. Unicorns, and I’m not sure I like reading anthologies. I knew they were short stories, and it won’t be a bad book, but I already know that I don’t like anthologies that much. I am really in the mood for some high fantasy right now, but I have review books that need to be read and reviewed as soon as possible. I’ve decided that I’m going to read the first Game of Thrones book over Christmas break. I get that it’s a ways away, but I am so pumped. I think I’m going to be confused, but I really love fantasy, so I’m going to go for it. Also, I almost have 200 followers! This week I will try and get some books for the giveaway. I will also be participating in the 24 in 48 hour Read-a-thon this weekend. The idea is to read 24 of the 48 hours in the weekend. It starts at midnight tonight. I will stay awake and read as much as I can tonight/early hours tomorrow :) Join here! I will be posting a TBR later tonight, it will be very ambitious, but I want to be optimistic about this!

It’s Friday! This week has actually gone surprisingly fast and I have no idea why. I hurt my knee during ballet on Tuesday and have been wearing a brace since then. I should be fine before Monday of next week, though. I have Nutcracker auditions next Friday AND I AM SO EXCITED! There are pointe parts this year and I am hoping to snag one of those spots. I love Nutcracker. I really love everything about it. I have been in Nutcracker twice, the first time I was Clara and the second time I was a soldier and a lamb. The lamb was on pointe but it was literally a 30 second song, and the soldier was extremely fun because we got to battle the mice and save Clara. If you haven’t seen a Nutcracker performance I highly recommend going and seeing one. They will most likely be somewhat close to you because it’s the Nutcracker. Anyway, I am still reading A Discovery of Witches. Woo. I have totally been saying I’d finish this book for about 2 months. Solid, Aubrey. I will finish it this weekend. I have to. I really need to start review books that were sent to me a while back that I haven’t gotten to yet! It’s not that the book is bad, I mean there are definitely some cheesy parts because it’s about a vampire falling in love with a witch, but it’s just not my favorite. I am also reading Watership Down. I’ve talked about this book before, but all that it really is is a bunch of talking rabbits who want to pick up some girls to mate with. That makes it sound like I don’t like the book, but I do. It’s surprisingly good, but there are so many rabbit language words that are hard to keep straight. There are also so many names. My gosh. So many weird names with weird spellings that I definitely just skip over while reading because I don’t know how to pronounce them. I just started a book club (!!!) and the first book we chose to read is King Dork. What? A book about dorks? How does that apply to you? Lol totally no dorks around here. *awkwardly looks from side to side* But seriously, this book is hilarious. It is about a kid who likes to read and finds his dad’s old copy of Catcher and the Rye and just tells about his school that is very stereotypical. I love this book as of right now. Moral of the story, read King Dork and Watership Down. *thumbs up emoji*

Wow. Totally haven’t done one of these since summer began. Anyway, I am currently reading A Discover of Witches (All Souls Trilogy #1) – Deborah Harkness and have been for so long. I’m in a horrible reading slump along with being very busy. I don’t really hate this book, I mean it isn’t great, but it isn’t horrible. I’m on page 156 at the moment and just a reminder this is part of the Book Chain that I’m creating *more info here* My reading slump is not okay anymore. I usually finish a book relatively quickly and I’d say I’m a fast reader, but oh my gosh I’m reading this book so slowly. Not okay. One cool thing that happened though was that I was interviewed on the lovely blog of The Cheap Reader, so that’s pretty exciting :) I hope to finish this book sometime this weekend. I need to be done with it. Let me know what you’re reading! Comment below or tag me on twitter @dancer5899 :)

SUMMER IS HERE! The reason I’ve been MIA is because I don’t have my school computer anymore! I am using my mom’s laptop at the moment and decided to use this as my first summer post. You would think that I would be super happy because I have more time on my hands to read, yes? Well, I do have more time, but I’ve been hanging out with friends instead of reading. I am behind so many books on my Goodreads goal, but I guess that is okay. Anyway, I am still reading City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments #4) – Cassandra Clare. The reason I’m reading this super slow is because I’ve already read it. I didn’t read it too long ago either. It’s still a very good book, but right now it’s boring for me. I know what’s going to happen and I just want to read City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments #6) – Cassandra Clare. I OWN THE NEW BOOK! I bought it. I knew I was going to, but I COULDN’T RESIST! It’s a beautiful book and I cannot wait to find out what happens in the final book. That is all for now, I will be blogging as much as I can… And reading as much as I can. :)

Today we got to read during one of our classes and I almost started crying because of Jace and Clary. I can’t even. It is so sad. I just got to the part in City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments #3) – Cassandra Clare where Jace came to Clary’s room in Alicante and he said, “There is no pretending,” Jace said with absolute clarity. “I love you, amd I will love you until I die, and if there’s a life after that, I’ll love you then.” WHAT? THAT IS SO CUTE AND SO PERFECT. I can’t wait to finish this book. I have so many feelings invested into this series. If Jace dies during the last one I will go all Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters and write a strongly worded letter to Cassandra Clare. I will need a different ending.

Last night I finished Frostbite (Vampire Academy #2) – Richelle Mead and I really enjoyed it. This morning I started The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #2) – Rick Riordan and am really enjoying it so far. It’s a little too young for me to completely enjoy, but I like the storyline. The plot hasn’t really taken off yet, though. After I finish the second Percy Jackson book I plan to pick up Legend (Legend #1) – Marie Lu.

Woo. I’m sick… again. Because I am sick, I’ll be able to read. A lot. This morning I finished Shadowland (The Immortals #3) – Alyson Noël and I am just about to start Seconds Before Sunrise (The Timely Death Trilogy #2) – Shannon A. Thompson. I absolutely loved the first book in the Timely Death Trilogy, Minutes Before Sunset, and have the opportunity to read the second before it even comes out. Shannon contacted me and asked me if I would want to review the second, and of course I said yes! I loved the first one and cannot wait to pick this one up. :)

*Big thanks to Shannon A. Thompson for sending me an eARC of Seconds Before Sunrise!*
